James Edward Murray, age 61, of Dixon, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at his home. He was born in Kansas City, Kansas on February 3, 1958, son of Louie Murray and Dorothy (Robinett) McCubbin. In 2014, James married Donna Rollins, who survives at their home.

James worked as a carpenter for Union Hall in Kansas City and St. Louis. He was a faithful member of Dixon Church of Christ.

In addition to his wife, Donna, he is also survived by his daughter, Jennifer Duncan and five grandchildren, Layne Duncan, Abigail Duncan, Alyssa Duncan, Alexis Duncan and Braden Murray.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Pendleton and son, Josh Murray.

A memorial graveside service will be held at a later date at Alder Springs Cemetery near Dixon.
