Jamie Michael Piggott, age 47, of Iberia, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at his home.  He was born in Jefferson City, on July 27, 1976, son of James "Jimmy" and Andrea (Sisco) Piggott.

Jamie was a 1994 graduate of Iberia R-V.  Following high school Jamie followed his passion and earned his nursing degree, caring for countless patients throughout his career.  He was an avid reader and enjoyed volunteering his time working at the Well alongside his aunt, Linda.  Jamie was a member of Brays Advent Christian Church.

He is survived by his father, Jimmy Piggott; brother, Derek Piggott; grandmother, Juanita Orr, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Andrea Piggott; brother, Brent Piggott, paternal grandparents, James and Ruby Piggott; and maternal grandfather, Earl Orr.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 (noon), with services immediately following at 12 (noon), on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Dennis Nichols officiating.  Interment will be held in Union Cemetery near Iberia.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the Jamie Piggott Memorial Fund.
