Jan England, age 69, of Crocker, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at her home.  She was born in Salem, Illinois on July 7, 1952, daughter of the late James and Jewell (Storment) Somer.  On December 14, 1973, in Salem, Illinois, Jan was united in marriage to William "Bill" Carl England, who survives at their home.

In addition to her husband, Bill England, she is also survived by six children, Shawn (Wendy) England of Dixon, Julie (BJ) Cochran of Iberia, Keri (Bill) Frehse of Lake Ozark, Nick (Chasity) England of Iberia, Cody (Julie) England of Iberia, and Colt England of Crocker; grandchildren, Renea, Chanse, Heather, Cory, Eli, Bekah, Alaina, Makenzie, Weston, and Cooper; five great-grandchildren with one on the way; brother, Jim Somer of Indiana, half-sister, Ann Somer-Hanson of Washington; and numerous family and friends.

Jan was a faithful Christian who loved quilting, canning, and gardening.  She enjoyed visiting with friends and family on the phone and collecting recipes.  Jan spent much of her time tending to their family farm and loved all her animals.  Her biggest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren.
