Jane French, age 65, of Dixon, died Thursday, November 1, 2007, at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born in Maries County on July 24, 1942, daughter of Amos and Maye (McKee) Pendleton. On May 6, 1961, in Iberia, she was married to Murl French, who survives at the home.
She owned and operated Jane's Floral Flower Shop in Iberia and worked for the Missouri Department of Revenue until her retirement. She was currently employed at Heartland Regional Library in Iberia. She was a member of Brays Advent Christian Church near Iberia, the Iberia Garden Club, the Red Hat Society, and the Nimble Thimbles Quilt Club.
Other survivors include one son, Michael French and wife Vicki of Dixon and two grandchildren, Monte and Emily French both of Dixon.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, James Douglas Pendleton.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. Stan Way will officiate. Interment will be in Dick Lawson Cemetery near Iberia.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
