Janell (Archuleta) Visser, age 55, of Eldon, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City. She was born in Lamar, Colorado on November 5, 1966, daughter of Raymond and Mary (Campos) Archuleta. On March 17, 1990, Janell was united in marriage to Floyd "Peewee" Visser, who survives at their home.
Janell was employed with the Miller County Sheriff's Office as the Sergeant of Jail Operations for 17 years. She considered her coworkers family and enjoyed the years she spent working at the Sheriff's office. Janell was a loving wife, devoted mother, and proud grandmother of her five grandbabies. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Ulman.
In addition to her husband, Floyd "Peewee" Visser, she is also survived by two sons, Donovan Visser and Ryan Visser; daughter, Destini Manly; five grandchildren, Ean Visser, Nevaeh Manly, Eli Visser, Jaxson Manly, and Noah Visser, mother, Mary Archuleta; siblings, Connie Archuleta, Sherri Archuleta, Anna Larson, Daniel Campos, and Maria Trujilo; godparents, Mary and Joe Vargas; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Archuleta, and uncle, Pat Archuleta.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., with services immediately following at 11 a.m., on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Bro. David Visser officiating.
