Jason Ash, age 32, of Tuscumbia, died Thursday, July 19, 2007, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia. He was born in Tuscumbia on February 14, 1975, son of Charles and Rebecca Lynn (Zimmer) Ash. On November 2, 1996, in Tuscumbia, he was married to Tiffany Dawn Duncan, who survives at the home.

He was a member of Rodden Church of Christ near Brumley.

Other survivors include one son, Casey Ash of the home; one daughter, Lydia Ash of the home; his parents, Charles and Becky Ash of Tuscumbia; one brother, Weston Ash and wife, Tracy, of Tuscumbia; one sister, Jessica Schulte and husband, Wes, of Eugene; paternal grandparents, Burnice and Ruth Ash of Brumley; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Dorothy Zimmer.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 24, at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. Bill Ferguson will officiate. Interment will be in Robinett Cemetery near Brumley.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Casey and Lydia Ash Education Fund in care of Central Bank of Tuscumbia.
