Jason S. Dickey, age 35, of Iberia, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2009, at his home. He was born in St. Louis County on October 19, 1974, son of James Dickey Sr. and Phyllis (Raymo) Whittle. On June 19, 1993, in Iberia, Jason married Carla Groves, who survives at the home.

Jason owned and operated Dickey Electric. He was an avid Nascar fan and enjoyed watching his boys play basketball.

He is also survived by two sons, Zane Dickey and Darrien Dickey both of the home; father, James Dickey Sr. and wife Rita of St. Peters; mother, Phyllis Whittle and husband Greg of Brumley; one brother, Jim Dickey and wife Susan of Findlay, Ohio; one niece, Jordan Dickey; one nephew, Justin Dickey both of Findlay, Ohio; father and mother-in-law, Davie and Carol Groves of Iberia; sister-in-law, Angie Groves of Osage Beach; and several aunts, uncles, family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with services immediately following at 1 p.m., on Tuesday, December 15, 2009, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Rev. Greg McClain will officiate. Interment will be in Union Cemetery near Iberia.
