Obituary

Listen to Obituary

Jason “Tiny” “Jammer” Struemph, age 50, of St. Elizabeth, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2026. He was born on September 26, 1976, the son of Lawrence and the late Evelyn (Veit) Struemph.

Jason dedicated 29 years to Delong’s as a Bridge Fabrication Specialist, where he built lasting friendships and made a meaningful impact through his hard work and dedication. Throughout his career, he quickly mastered the operation of the girder machines and became highly skilled at running the gantry welder. Jason received numerous recognitions for stepping up and making a difference, adding to the many achievements and accomplishments that have defined his career. He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and St. Elizabeth Knights of Columbus. Jason was well known for his homemade jerky, which he took pride in making and sharing with others. His generosity and thoughtfulness were evident in the way he shared his homemade treats with family and friends.

Jason enjoyed spending his free time baking goodies, grilling, and making his famous jerky. He rarely made something without wanting to share it and found happiness in seeing others enjoy his latest creation. When he wasn’t in the kitchen or tending to the grill, Jason could often be found riding around on his side-by-side or enjoying tea at the table with his dad and siblings. His familiar greeting of “feller” will forever be remembered by those who knew and loved him. Though he may no longer be here to say it, his memory will live on in the hearts of all his fellers.

Jason is survived by his father, Lawrence Struemph, and his six siblings: Dale (Traci) Struemph, Pat (Tim) Fraizer, Roy (Linda) Struemph, Carl (Janice) Struemph, Ken (Lynn) Struemph, and Alan (Paula) Struemph.

He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews: Ana Hooper, Robert (Leslie) Hooper, Samantha (Brandon) Baugh, Paige Struemph, Audrey Struemph, Ciarra Frazier, Devan Frazier, Trevor Struemph, Kayla Struemph, Mara Struemph, Tyler (Lyndsey) Struemph, Mackenzie (Aaron) Luke, Levi Struemph, Brooke Struemph, Ross (Londyn) Struemph, Danyelle (Dustin) Libbert, Destinee (Ricky) Thomas, KayCee Struemph, and Aleesha Struemph.

Jason was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Struemph.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, with Fr. Christopher Aubuchon officiating.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 4:00 p.m. and a rosary at 7 p.m., on Monday, October 19, 2026, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church.

Memorial Contributions are suggested to St. Lawrence Cemetery Fund.
