Jean Carol Keeth, age 77, of Iberia, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at her home. She was born in Iberia on January 27, 1933, daughter of the late Wade A. and Edna (Wall) Pemberton. On February 3, 1950, in Hardy, Arkansas, Jean married G.R. Keeth, who survives at the home.

Jean helped manage and run Keeth Poultry since 1950 and both she and her husband G.R. owned and operated Iberia Auto Supply since 1972. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. Jean attended First Christian Church in Iberia.

She is also survived by six children, Gregory Keeth and wife Pam of Iberia, Beth Whittle and husband Mike of Iberia, Christina Robertson and husband Dwight of Iberia, Sandra Libbert and husband Kenny of Iberia, Anthony Keeth and wife Janet of Iberia, and Cheri Rushing and husband Chad of Pinckneyville, Illinois; 18 grandchildren, Matthew Keeth, Jonathan Keeth, Andrew Keeth, Tamra Whittle, Shawn Whittle, Joseph Whittle, Susan Hensley, Craig Whittle, Justin Whittle, Steve Robertson, Nichole Stephens, Natasha Herbert, Darin Libbert, Alicia Merrifield, Derek Libbert, Ty Keeth, Kenzie Rushing, and Callie Rushing; 22 great-grandchildren; one brother, Don Pemberton; and one twin sister, Janet Wilson.

She was preceded by her parents; and ten brothers and sisters; Wilma Birge, Emil Pemberton, Gretchen Jones, Sylvia Atwill, Pauline Livingston, Lynn Pemberton, Victor Pemberton, Maxine Deardeuff, Harold Pemberton, and James Pemberton.

Services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at Iberia First Christian Church. Rev. Stan Way will officiate. Interment will be in Williams Cemetery near Iberia.

Visitation will be from 5 – 8 p.m. on Monday, August 30 at the church.
