Obituary
Jennie L. Duncan, age 94, of Crocker, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2009, at Phelps County Regional Medial Center. She was born in Miller County on June 17, 1914, daughter of the late William and Sadie (Ponder) Conner. She was married in Iberia on June 2, 1935, to Ralph T. Duncan, who survives.
Jennie was a member of Iberia Eastern Star and First Baptist Church of Iberia.
She is also survived by nieces and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her infant son, Jackie Lee Duncan, who preceded her in death on January 19, 1937. She was also preceded by three brothers, Earl Conner, Myer Conner, and Clarence Conner; and one sister, Lena Faye Dieckmann.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. with services immediately following at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Rev. Lee Todd will officiate. Interment will be in Iberia Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Iberia Cemetery Fund.
