Jennie (Whitaker) May, age 91, of Tuscumbia, died Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on September 19, 1914, a daughter of the late Frank and Jennie (Thysen) Whitaker. In 1956, in Miami, Florida she was married to Mack B. May, Sr., who survives in Tuscumbia.
Others who survive her include: One step-son, Mack B. May, Jr. and his wife Toni of Lake Ozark; one sister, Fran Bambrick of Pennsylvania; one niece, Barbara Wolf of Pennsylvania; one nephew, Bud Bambrick of Pennsylvania and two step-grandchildren.
One brother, Elmer Whitaker, also preceded her in death.
The body was cremated under the direction of Rekus Funeral Home in Eldon. No services are planned.
