Jerry Joe Robinett, age 51, of Brumley, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Lake Regional Hospital. He was born on September 24, 1973, son of Lester and Dorothy (Davis) Robinett. On July 26, 2008, in Linn Creek, Joe was united in marriage to Tara Weitkamp, who survives at their home.
He was affectionately known as "Joe" by his family and friends. He had a passion for music, playing the bass for cover bands around the Lake Ozark area, including Cuz I Said So and Kingpin. Joe enjoyed barbequing and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his loving wife, Tara Robinett, he is also survived by two sons, Brock (Amber) Robinett of Eldon and Grant (Jaeden) Robinett of South Carolina; father, Lester Robinett of Brumley; mother-in-law, Myra Parker of Pittsburg, KS; brother-in-law, Josh (Ali) Weitkamp of Linn Creek; sisters-in-law, Danielle (Michael) Weitkamp of Pittsburg, KS and Crystal Robinett of Brumley; father-in-law, Kenneth Weitkamp; and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Robinett; brother, Dale Robinett; and step-father-in-law, Darrel Shelton.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 22, at the Brumley Lions Club.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.
Memorial contributions are suggested the American Diabetes Society.
