Jerry Allen Saling, age 65, of Jefferson City, died Tuesday, December 27, 2005, at Capitol Region Medical Center. He was born in Blairstown on December 17, 1940, a son of Jack Oscar and Myrtle (Greer) Saling. On October 26, 1969, in Gun City, he was married to Patricia Lynn Humbard, who survives at the home.

Jerry was a member of the Russellville Baptist Church. He was a loving son, husband, brother, father and grandfather and will be missed by all.

Others who survive him include: his mother, Myrtle Ferguson; his children, Cindy, Jerry, Jr., Lola, Casey, Donna Dee, Elizabeth, John, Patti and Jordan; 18 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, five brothers and one sister.

His father and one brother preceded him in death.

Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. on Friday, December 30, with services immediately following at 2:00 p.m. at Rekus Funeral Home in Eldon. Bro. Paul Young will officiate. Interment will be in High Point Cemetery.
