Jewell Humphrey, age 87, of Brumley, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2020, at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia. He was born on August 4, 1932, son of the late Seldon and Ruby (Hunt) Humphrey. On November 19, 1956, in Iberia, Jewell married Kathryn Pearl Graham, who preceded him in death on August 8, 2009.

Jewell faithfully attended Lighthouse Baptist Church.

He is survived by one daughter, Connie Wilson and husband Lynn of Brumley; six grandchildren, Tiffany Hendley (Jake), Stephanie Peak (Dylan), Lyndsey Wilson, Tricia Seelbach, David Bishop, and Sierra Bishop; one great-granddaughter, Hannah Hendley; brother, Donley Humphrey; son-in-law, Robert Bishop; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In addition to his parents and loving wife, Kathryn, he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Bishop, and sister, Mary Ann Rowden.

Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, March 11, at Gott Cemetery near Ulman with Eric Shaw officiating.
