Jimmie Dale Sechrest, age 44, of Ulman, died Friday, November 30, 2007, at his home. He was born in Tuscumbia on February 28, 1963, a son of the late Leonard Dale and Vernie (Cotton) Sechrest. On November 13, 1992, in Olean, he was married to Peggy Workman, who survives at the home.

Jimmie enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God in Iberia.

Others who survive him include: four children, Raymond Dale Sechrest of the home, Amanda Sechrest of Florida, Misty Sechrest of Florida and Amber Sechrest of Florida; one granddaughter, Calyssa Sechrest of Florida; one brother, Donnie Sechrest of Eldon; one sister, Rose Mannering of Eldon; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at Rekus Funeral Home in Eldon. Rev. Virgil Dennis will officiate. Interment will be in Gott Cemetery near Ulman.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at Rekus Funeral Home in Eldon.
