Jo Ann Plemmons, age 68, of Iberia, died Sunday, December 7, 2008, at her home. She was born in Iberia on January 10, 1940, daughter of Vernon Castle Sr. and Flossie (Long) Martin. On January 10, 1958, in Iberia, she married Donald Clark Plemmons, who preceded her in death on September 13, 1991.

She was a member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church.

She is survived by one son, Rory Plemmons of Iberia; three daughters, Rachelle Mason and husband Ron of Weatherby, Tammy Anderson and husband James of Kansas City, and Kimberley Lassiter and husband Robert of Camdenton; and eight grandchildren, Shanna Utter, Matthew Mason, Tyler Mason, Shelby Mason, Alecia Anderson, James Dean Anderson, Mandy Lucas, and Amber Lucas.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother Vernon Castle Martin Jr.; and one grandchild, Seasons Mason.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2008, at Rekus Funeral Homes in Iberia. Bro. Stan Way will officiate. Interment will be in Iberia Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
