John F. Engelmeyer, age 86, of St. Anthony, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022, at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia.  He was born in Miller County on October 22, 1935, son of the late Henry and Catherine (Holtmeyer) Engelmeyer.

John was employed for Kleo Robertson for many years.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on his farm and tending to his cattle.  He loved spending time with his family and always hosted Thanksgiving at his home.  John was a member of the Marys Home Knights of Columbus and St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

He is survived by his sister, Elizabeth (Jim) Watson, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, in-laws, family, neighbors, and dear friends.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers, Herman, Steve and Bernard "Ben" Engelmeyer, two sisters, Christine Luebbering and Gertrude Rustemeyer, four nephews, and two nieces.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. on Friday, July 15, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in St. Anthony with Fr. Aubuchon officiating.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m., on Thursday, July 14, at St. Anthony of Padua Parish Hall.
