John D. Farrow, age 60, of St. Elizabeth, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.  He was born in Iberia on October 19, 1961, son of John Melvin and Wilma (Hicks) Farrow.  On October 17, 2017, John was united in marriage to Lynn Hogue, who survives at their home.

John had a successful trucking career and took pride tending to his trucks and tractors.  He loved spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and taking care of the day-to-day farm chores and the cows.  John was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church.

In addition to his loving wife, Lynn, he is also survived by his mother, Wilma Farrow; one son, Gary Farrow (Mindy); daughter, Katie Farrow (Cole); six grandchildren with one on the way; sister, Judith Farrow (Bobby); parents-in-law, Doyle and Leona Hogue; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Melvin Farrow, maternal grandparents, Guy and Maude Hicks, and paternal grandparents, Wayne and Rozeen Farrow.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., with services immediately following at 11 a.m., on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at Mason Ridge Church near Iberia with Bro. Freddie Earp officiating.  Interment will be held in Duncan Cemetery near Iberia.
