Obituary
John W. Hurst, age 58, of Eldon, died Sunday, December 30, 2007, at his home. He was born in Nassawadox, Virginia on May 3, 1949, a son of the late Lou Eugene and Mary Knox (Haines) Hurst.
Those who survive him include: his wife, Carolyn (Christman) Hurst, of the home; two sons, John and Matthew Hurst of the state of California; two step-sons, Michael Gene O'Dell of Kansas City and Charles A. Boan of Blue Springs and one sister, Martha Jean Cothran of Raymore.
His body has been cremated under the direction of Rekus Funeral Home in Eldon.
