Obituary
John Koehler, age 71, of Meta, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at SSM St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City. He was born in Meta on December 15, 1945, son of the late Frank and Leona Catherine (Hoeller) Koehler.
John was a cattle farmer in the Meta area his entire life. He was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church.
He is survived by one brother, Frank Koehler of Meta; one sister, Mary Ann Farber of Los Angeles, California; two nephews, Jason and Scott Farber; and one great-niece, Leona Farber.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, William "Bill" Koehler.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
