Joseph "Joe" Frederick Bock, age 87, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Care Center in St. Elizabeth. He was born on November 7, 1930, son of the late William and Elsie (Martin) Bock. In April of 1968, Joe married Christina (Currier) Bock, who preceded him in death on November 9, 2011.

Joe had a successful career as a supervisor for Avon until his retirement after many devoted years with the company.

He is survived by his daughter, Barbara J. Bock of San Francisco, California and his step-son, Joe Currier. Joe was also blessed to have many other loving extended family members living in the Meta area.

He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Bock and seven siblings, Marie, Robert, Louis, James, Willard, Herbert, and Clarence.

Visitation will be held from 12 (noon) to 1 p.m., with services immediately following at 1 p.m., on Thursday, November 1, 2018, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Meta. Interment will follow at Southside Cemetery in Meta.
