Obituary

Our mother, Josephine Dolores (Bax) Green, age 99, has gone on to reunite with the love of her life, her hubby, Glennon J. (Bob) Green, who preceded her in death on September 27, 2000. Josephine passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia. She was born in St. Elizabeth on June 18, 1919, daughter of the late Bernard and Elizabeth (Eichholz) Bax.

She was united in marriage on August 8, 1942, in St. Louis, to Glennon J. (Bob) Green. Josephine greatly missed her "hubby" Glennon from the day he left to be with the Lord and angels in heaven.

Josephine enjoyed quilting when she first married and later became known for her love of playing cards and dominos with family and friends. Most of all Josephine's favorite pastime was visiting with her family and friends. She dearly loved all her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren.

Christmas parties, barbeques, and playing washer boards was also a delight for her, especially when she would win playing against her children.

Josephine was a member of the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, St. Anthony's Ladies Sodality, the Sunshine Gals Club, Senior Citizens Club, and the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary 4 th Degree.

In December of 2014 at the age of 95 she moved to the Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center where she was voted and crowned Valentines Queen for the skilled division in 2015.
