Joyce L. (Colvin) Rodden, age 74, of Brumley, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018, at her home. She was born in Iberia on April 9, 1944, daughter of the late Sterling and Glee (Witt) Colvin. On September 1, 1961, in Crocker, Joyce married Franklin Rodden, who survives at their home.

Joyce loved quilting and enjoyed spending time outdoors gardening. She was a member of the Brumley Church of Christ.

In addition to her husband, Franklin Rodden, she is also survived by four daughters, Missy Long and husband Tim of Crocker, Tina Humphrey and husband Dwight of Iberia, Lisa Pemberton and husband Joe of Iberia, and Jennifer Cochran and husband Ronnie of Brumley; eight grandchildren, Tera Humphrey, Evan Long, Josh Pemberton, Brady Long, Latesha Zach, Eva Gilliland, Rachel Cochran, and Rylee Cochran; eight great-grandchildren, Sage, Brianna, Jalynn, Adriana, Malachi, Levi, Connor, and Raylan; one sister, Gloria Lenox of Eldon; and one brother, Tim Colvin and wife Cindy of Iberia.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Dale Colvin and Garry Colvin; brother-in-law, David Lenox; and one sister-in-law, Patricia Colvin.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 (noon), with services immediately following at 12 (noon), on Monday, October 22, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Jim Franklin officiating. Interment will be held in Rodden Cemetery in Brumley.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the Rodden Cemetery.
