Judy Bell Steen, age 53, of Iberia, died Sunday, July 2, 2006, at her home. She was born in Miller County on June 8, 1953, daughter of Clark Arzo and Mildred Nadine Bell (Robinett) Phillips. On March 28, 1975, in Iberia, she was married to Michael Steen, who survives at the home.
She worked as a clinical and school nurse. She was a member of the Iberia First Christian Church.
Survivors include: three sons, Todd, Jacob, and Kevin Steen; four daughters, Stella Onstott, Karla Evers, Sherrie Maylee, and Debbie Farrow; Lorene Fancher Lupardus (Mema); two brothers, Bob and Clark Dale Phillips; grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Her parents; one son, Buckey Phillips; and three brothers, Buck, Bill, and Pete Phillips preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 3-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 6, at the Iberia First Christian Church. A Memorial Service will follow at 7:30 p.m. at the church with Bro. Stan Way officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Iberia Elementary School Playground.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.
