Junior Lee Woods, age 78, of Eldon, died Friday, October 5, 2007, at Lake Ozark Retirement Center. He was born in Gladstone on June 30, 1929, a son of the late Thomas and Mamie Dixie (Howser) Woods. On July 6, 1994 in Versailles, he was married to Sharon Graham, who survives at the home.
Junior was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was also a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Eldon.
Others who survive him include: one daughter, Rhonda Schulte and husband Joe of Apopka, Florida; two sons, Ralph Junior Woods and wife Vera of Tuscumbia and Stanley Edward Woods and wife Cindy of Jefferson City; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one sister, Lorriane Pruitt of Eldon and one brother-in-law, Bill Graham of Eldon.
One sister, Edita Marie Jennings; one granddaughter, Christy Ann Woods and one great grandson, David Allen Saint, also preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 9 with services immediately following at First Assembly of God Church in Eldon. Rev. James Hedrick will officiate. Interment with military honors will be in Rocky Mount Union Cemetery.
