Kalen Grace Clark, age 19, Iberia, Missouri, was born on May 16, 1988, at Rolla, Missouri. She left all of us who loved her on May 29, 2007, as the result of an automobile accident. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Wayne and Dorothy Setser, of Richland, and paternal grandfather, Dalton Clark of Dixon.
Kalen was a 2006 graduate of Iberia High School and had completed her freshman year in college at William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri. She was looking forward to her sophomore year at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. Kalen was an extremely intelligent girl with a vital personality; as a result, she had many friends. Kalen had a great love of animals, and she enjoyed her job working at Pet Harbor in Osage Beach. She was baptized as a small girl and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Swedeborg.
Those left to mourn the passing of Kalen include: her mother, Pamela Owen Clark of Iberia; her father and stepmother, James D. and Elaine Clark of Dixon; her birth father, Danny Goosen and wife, Meghan of Pennsylvania; three brothers, Chad S. Clark of Chicago, Illinois, Billy Clark and wife, Kendal of Marshfield, Missouri, and Michael Clark of Dixon, Missouri; one sister, Mary Boese and husband, Justin of Columbia, Missouri; aunt and uncle, Pat and Earl Posten of Richland, Missouri; grandparents, Herb and Mary Goosen of Richland, Missouri; grandmother, Louise Clark of Dixon, Missouri; one stepbrother, Joshua Carroll of Springfield, Missouri; one stepsister, Jentry Carroll of Dixon, Missouri; best friend, Amy Luttrell; and many other dear relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Alan Koch officiating. Interment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery near Swedeborg.
Pallbearers for Kalen are Brody Ash, Andy Doyle, Chris Duncan, Derek McCubbin, Cameron Shiverdeck, and Ryan Workman.
