Karl Emil Edwin Eatherton, age 47, of Iberia, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Friday, October 18, 2024. He was born in St. Louis on November 5, 1976, son of Norman and Mary (Meine) Eatherton. On May 27, 2006, Karl was united in marriage to Rose Luttrell, who survives at their home.
Karl was employed at Unilever in Jefferson City as a production machine operator. He had an extensive Mt. Dew collection and a wide variety of pocketknives that he collected over the years. He took great pleasure in mowing his lawn and would often mow neighboring yards. He will be remembered for his optimistic outlook on life and the unconditional love he had for his family and friends. Karl attended Brays Advent Christian Church in Iberia and was actively involved at Camp Wilderness, where he met his wife, Rose.
In addition to his loving wife, Rose Eatherton, he is also survived by his mother, Mary Eatherton; three children, Faith Eatherton, Macella (Alex) Miller, and David Faulkner; four grandchildren, Joah Miller, Elias Miller, Delilah Faulkner, and Tysen Wyrick; four siblings, Phillip Eatherton, Anita Shaw, Chrissy Lesniewski, and Charlie Eatherton; and a host of aunts, uncles, family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Eatherton; grandparents; and uncle, Charlie.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 (noon), with funeral service immediately following at 12 (noon), on Monday, October 21, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Interment will be held in Mt. Union Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Karl Eatherton Memorial Fund or Camp Wilderness.
