Katherine Sue (Hodge), age 69, of Belleville, Illinois, formerly of Eldon, died Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at her home. She was born in Eugene on April 11, 1938, a daughter of the late Ben and Carrie (Hinds) Hodge.

Those who survive her include: three children, Rocky Gillmore of Eldon, Kevin McGathery and wife Andora of Yukon, Oklahoma and Kara Hoyer of Belleville, Illinois; 12 grandchildren, Mandy, Brandon, Macy, Adam, Matthew, Madison, Morgan, Emily, Reagan, Chadrick, Julie and Brad; four great grandchildren; one brother, Truman Hodge of Eldon; six sisters, Ruby Jean Koons, Mary Lou Lankford and Ruth Lathrom of Blue Springs, Myrtle Eth of Independence and Gloria Jeter and Linda Hayes of Eldon and numerous nieces and nephews.

Seven brothers, Billy Joe Hodge, James Walker Hodge, Benny Vancel Hodge, Sammy Arnold Hodge, Kenneth Warren Hodge, Charles Edward Hodge and Tommy Rollins Hodge and two sisters, Nellie Plemmons and Delora Goodman, also preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. on Friday, April 27, with services immediately following at 6:00 p.m. at Rekus Funeral Home in Eldon. Rev. Danny Graham will officiate. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Spring Garden Cemetery near Eugene.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Eldon Senior Center.
