Kathleen "Kathy" Delora (Lee) Deardeuff, age 83, of Iberia passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach. She was born in Iberia on January 17, 1936, daughter of the late James and Irene (Helton) Lee. On June 26, 1954, in Iberia, Kathy married Billy Joe Deardeuff, who survives at their home. They were blessed with 65 years of marriage.

Kathy was a devoted and active member of the Iberia Church of the Nazarene since around 1960. She retired from the Iberia R-V School District in 1991. To this day she has many students come up to her and tell her how much they loved her and how she always seemed to care for them.

She so loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and enjoyed attending their events. Kathy will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her. In her family's memories, she lives on in each of them. "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints" Psalm 116:15.

In addition to her loving husband, Bill, she is also survived by her children, Steven Deardeuff and wife Rexanna, Karen Wracher and husband Rod, Robert Deardeuff and wife Tina, John Deardeuff and wife Susan all of Iberia, and daughter, Judy Baker and husband James of Idaho; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Viola Rowden of Iberia; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Betty Hickey of Richland.

Visitation will be 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with service immediately following at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, December 19, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Bro. Bob Hamm officiating. Interment will be held at Bethany Cemetery near Crocker.
