Kathryn Humphrey, age 73, of Brumley, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2009, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. She was born in Partridge, Kansas, on September 23, 1935, daughter of the late Ray and Ethel (Blew) Graham. On November 19, 1956, in Iberia, Kathryn married Jewell Francis Humphrey, who survives at the home.
She was employed at ASCS in Tuscumbia for many years until her retirement in 1994. She enjoyed playing piano and organ in church for over 50 years. Kathryn was a very dedicated member of Crossroads Baptist Church of Ulman.
She is also survived by two daughters, Connie Wilson and husband Lynn and Karen Bishop and husband Robert both of Brumley; six grandchildren, Tiffany Wilson, Stephanie Wilson, Lyndsey Wilson, Tricia Bishop, David Bishop, and Sierra Bishop; one brother, Clarence Graham of Eldon; three sisters, Mildred Alieksaites of Ulman, Norma Jean Ahart of Tuscumbia; and Marilyn Carico of Ulman; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Raymond Graham, Bob Graham, George Graham, and James Graham.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2009, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. David Visser will officiate. Interment will be in Gott Cemetery near Ulman.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, August 10, at the funeral home.
