Kathy Dean Rodden, age 71, of Brumley, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025, at her home. She was born in Tuscumbia, on July 6, 1954, daughter of the late John and Verna (Luttrell) Davis. On December 4, 1970, in Tuscumbia, Kathy was united in marriage to Henry Mack Rodden, who preceded her in death on November 3, 2014.
She enjoyed traveling to Colorado and Yellowstone, which brought her great joy and created cherished memories. She also loved fishing, camping, and listening to music, especially to old country artists including Hank Williams, Waylon Jennings, and Elvis Presley. Kathy was a devoted Christian whose kindness and compassion touched the lives of all who knew her. She was a member of Brumley Christian Church.
She is survived by her son, Richard (Nichole) Rodden of Brumley; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Thresa Plemmons, Rickey Davis, and James Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sons, David Rodden and Johnny Rodden; and her siblings, Eula May Rodden, Jerry Davis, and Dorothy Robinett.
A private service was held at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.
