Kenneth Paul Benfer, age 49, of Scottsdale, Arizona, formerly of Iberia, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2011, at his home. He was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky, on June 24, 1961, son of the late Kenneth John and Doris Patsy Benfer.

He is survived by three sisters, Belinda Moody and husband James of Iberia, Diane Bonnin and husband Jeff of Wisconsin, and Debra Conner and husband Christopher of Iberia; many nieces and nephews including a special niece, Kathy Lavoie; four great nephews; and two great nieces with one on the way.

He was preceded in death by his life partner, Ed Huber.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., with a memorial service immediately following at 12:15 p.m., on Saturday, March 26, at the Congregational Christian Church of Iberia. Rev. Randall Hoffmann will officiate. Interment will be in Freedom Cemetery near Iberia.
