Kenneth "Ken" Marks, age 75, of Eldon, died Saturday, December 29, 2007, at Lake Regional Hospital. He was born in Prairie DuRocher, Illinois on March 11, 1932, a son of the late Charles and Mary (Cheek) Marks. On December 17, 1954, in St. Louis, he was married to June Sikes, who survives at the home.

Others who survive him include: Six children, Kathy Miller and husband Dale of Troy, Illinois, Ken Marks and wife Debbie of House Springs, Mike Marks and wife Loretta of Eldon, Daniel Marks and wife Maggie of Eldon, John Marks of Lake Ozark and Helen Smith and husband Darrel of Marys Home; 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; one brother, David Marks and numerous nieces and nephews.

One brother, Paul "Red" Marks and one sister, Ida Oswald, also preceded him in death.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 3, at Rekus Funeral Home in Eldon. Bro. Charlie Kempf will officiate.

Memorial contributions are suggested to The Salvation Army or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
