Obituary
Kevin D. Nelson, age 55, of Linn Creek, passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, June 19, 2016, at his home. He was born in Tehran, Iran, on January 20, 1961, son of the late Lee and Jeanette (Berg) Nelson. On April 17, 2009, in Harrison, Arkansas, Kevin married Shelby Dale Humphrey, who survives at the home.
In addition to his loving wife, Shelby, he is also survived by one sister, Gail Nelson of Decatur, GA; two brothers, Gary Nelson of Decatur, GA and Jeff Nelson and wife Betty of Conyers, GA; mother-in-law, Paula Dye of Tuscumbia; brother-in-law, Chris Dye and wife Julie of Iberia; two nephews, and three nieces.
Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 22, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. Brian Duncan will officiate. Interment will be in Union Cemetery near Iberia.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
