Kevin Daniel Phillips Steen, age 42, of Greeley, Colorado, formerly of Iberia, passed away on January 10, 2021.

He was born in Tuscumbia, on January 25, 1978. Kevin grew up in the Iberia area where he attended and graduated from Iberia R-V. Following high school, Kevin worked as an electrician and a funeral director throughout his life.

Kevin was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, never leaving the house without having a KC Chiefs hat or hoodie on. He was the fun-loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, both in Colorado and Missouri. He had a charming and charismatic personality which always seemed to draw people to him. Kevin's children will always remember his unconditional love for them and describe him to be a "loving, wonderful, and devoted dad". His memory will live on in the hearts he left behind and they will share his stories with the generations to come.

Kevin is survived by former wife, Amanda Steen and their son, Micah age 14, of Greeley, CO; daughter, Maci Steen age 21 (Tristan) of Jefferson City; father, Mike Steen, of Iberia; four sisters, Debbie Farrow of Brumley, Sherrie Maylee (Bruce) of Iberia, Stella Onstott (Greg) of Iberia, and Karla Evers (Norm) of Jefferson City; two brothers, Jacob Steen (Tiffany) of Iberia, and Todd Steen of Columbia; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Steen; birthmother, Dorothy Phillips; brother, Buckey Phillips; Grandpa Paul and Grandma Lucille Steen, two nephews, BJ and Dalton Maylee, and many other family members.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., with a memorial service immediately following at 2 p.m., on Sunday, January 24, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Bro. Stan Way officiating.

There will be a Celebration of Life dinner following the service at the First Christian Church Family Life Center in Iberia. Everyone is welcome to attend.
