Landon Raymond Wilde, age 20, of Iberia, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2013, at the University of Missouri in Columbia. He was born on February 15, 1993, son of Raymond Wilde and Becky (Keeran) Cochran.
Landon was a 2011 graduate of Iberia High School. After high school Landon worked for Ruckman Heating and Cooling and HTH as an Insulator. He also enjoyed working on various farms and turkey barns in the surrounding Miller County area. He volunteered with the Brumley First Responders and was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He attended Honey Spring Baptist Church.
Landon loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was loved by many family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Becky Cochran and husband Scotty of Iberia; his father, Raymond Wilde of St. Elizabeth; two sisters, Toi Luttrell and Justin Wilde of Jefferson City and Grace Cochran of Iberia; girlfriend, Shiniah Plumb of Brumley; grandparents, Joyce "Miss Kitty" Gilmore of St. Elizabeth, Nora Wilde of St. Elizabeth, Max Keeran and wife Irene of Centertown, and Colleen O'Dell of Brumley; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by one uncle, Randy Keeran and two grandparents, Fred Wilde and Wayne O'Dell.
Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2013, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9, at the funeral home.
