Obituary
Louise Meredith, age 79, of rural Dixon, died Wednesday, January 3, 2007, at General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital. She was born in Maries County on April 26, 1927, daughter of James C. and Lena (Denton) Alexander, both deceased. On November 25, 1949, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, she was married to James V. Meredith, who survives at the home.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Crocker Church of Christ.
Other survivors include one daughter, Danne' Hall and husband, Loren of Dixon; three grandchildren, Brandon Hall, Zachary Hall, and Meredith Hall all of Dixon; one sister, Wilma Burchfield of the state of California; and other family and friends.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, at Freedom Cemetery near Dixon. Bro. Ray Sullins will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Bible Institute of Missouri.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.
