Obituary

Leman A. Ash, age 82, of Iberia, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia.  He was born in Brumley on September 18, 1939, son of the late Otto and Cretia (Robinett) Ash.  On August 5, 1961, in Brumley, Leman was united in marriage to Alice M. Robinett, who survives at their home.

Leman's favorite pastime was spending time outdoors, fishing and hunting. He enjoyed singing and loved spending time with his family and friends.  Leman was a faithful member of Rodden Church of Christ in Brumley.

In addition to his loving wife, Alice Ash, he is also survived by two sons, Dave (Pam) Ash, and Dan (Jeanna) Ash; daughter, Gina Sue Ash; five grandchildren, Tristan Wampler, Brandon Ash, Lakota Ash, Brody Ash, and Mackenzie Frederick; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Loudean Brown; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren, four brothers, and two sisters.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., with services immediately following at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, December 21, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Aaron Frederick officiating.  Interment will be held in Robinett Cemetery near Iberia.
