Leona C. Koehler, age 90, of Meta, died Saturday, May 19, 2007, at St. Mary's Health Center. She was born in Koeltztown on December 2, 1916, daughter of Henry and Mary (Heisler) Hoeller. On December 2, 1940, in St. Louis, she was married to Frank Koehler, who preceded her in death on November 8, 1963,

She was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Meta.

Survivors include three sons, Frank Koehler Jr., Bill Koehler, and John Koehler all of Meta; one daughter, Mary Ann Farber of Los Angeles, California; and two grandsons, Jason Farber and Scott Farber both of Los Angeles, California.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Matilda Stumpe, and two brothers, Frank and Gus Hoeller.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 23, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Meta. Father Dandi Bermejo will officiate. Interment will be in St. Cecilia Cemetery in Meta.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the church with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.
