Obituary
Leonard Junior Wilson, age 79, of Iberia, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2014, at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia. He was born in Miller County on May 19, 1935, son of the late Leonard and Frankie (Dake) Wilson.
He was employed at Westinghouse and ABB for several years. Leonard honorably served in the United States Navy during Vietnam War. He was a member of the Crocker VFW.
He is survived by three sisters, Edna Humphrey of Iberia, Ruby Mees of Arizona and Margaret Cochran of Iberia; two brothers, Bobby Wilson and Kenneth Wilson both of Iberia; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, William Andrew Wilson, Jewel Wilson, Spurgeon Wilson, and George Wilson, and one sister, Lois Wilson.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m., with services immediately following at 2 p.m., on Monday, November 17, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. Warren Mitchell will officiate. Interment with military honors under the direction of the American Legion Post 105 and Iberia VFW Post 6167 will be in Union Cemetery near Iberia.
