Lillie Belle West, age 79, of Argyle, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. She was born in St. Louis on March 3, 1932, daughter of the late Christopher and Ivy (May) Meiburger.
She is survived by three daughters, Patsy S. Barber of Centertown, Judy K. Mace and husband Gary of Green River, Wyoming, and Sherry F. West of Argyle; two sons, Arlin L. West and wife Brenda of Maynard, Arkansas, and Lloyd J. West and wife Doris of Freeburg; 23 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, John H. West and Roy W. West; her husband, Robert J. West; four sisters; and two brothers.
Visitation will be from 12 (noon) to 2 p.m., with services immediately following at 2 p.m., on Monday, October 31, 2011, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Meta. Bro. Richard Ward will officiate. Interment will be in Southside Cemetery in Meta.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Lillie West Memorial Fund.
