Obituary
Linda Mae Helton, age 72, of Meta, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at her home. She was born in St. Louis on July 17, 1942, daughter of the late Oscar and Lucille (Polli) Hertel. Linda was married to Bennie Samuel Helton, who preceded her in death on January 13, 1991.
Linda was a loving and caring person who enjoyed cooking. She had a special place in her heart for her two beloved dogs, YoYo and Miss Giggles.
She is survived by two sisters, Georgia Delap of Pacific and Jackie Zipfel of Jonesboro, Arkansas; twelve nieces and nephews; and one sister-in-law, Launa Helton Rowden.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Maxine Whinery; and several in-laws from her late husband Bennie's side.
Inurnment will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens in Jefferson City. Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
