Linda Phillips, age 56, of Brumley, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011, at her home. She was born in Kansas on March 29, 1955, daughter of the late, Clifford and Essie (Luttrell) Witt. On April 19, 1973, in Iberia, Linda married Clark Phillips who survives at the home.

She is also survived by two daughters, Twila Workman and husband Ralph of Brumley and Marinda Prather and husband Mark of Iberia; seven grandchildren, Brandan Workman, Lacey Workman, Taylor Plemmons, Madilynn Plemmons, Chris Prather, Stephanie Prather, and Seth Prather; one great-grandchild, Kal Prather; and one sister, Gertie Lou Starnes of Iberia.

She was also preceded by five brothers and five sisters.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m., with services immediately following at 11 a.m., on Monday, May 2, 2011, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. Ernie Miller will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Union Cemetery in Brumley.
