Lloyd "Dean" Curtman, age 83, of Iberia, passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2012, at his home. He was born in Miller County on July 27, 1929, son of the late Rev. William F. and Mary E. (Patterson) Curtman. On April 15, 1947, in St. Louis, Dean married Lucille Humphrey, who survives at the home. On November 15, 2012, Lloyd and Lucille would have been married for 65 years and 7 months.
Dean was a member of Iberia First Assembly of God.
He is also survived by two sons, Terry Curtman and wife Linda and John Curtman and wife Lori both of Iberia; one daughter, Theresa Kelsay and husband Rickey of Iberia; one son-in-law, Ronnie Prater of Iberia; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one adopted brother, Larry Curtman of Crocker.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Kaye Prater; five brothers; and four sisters.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with services immediately following at 1 p.m., on Saturday, November 17, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Rev. Jeff Higbie and Rev. Chip Sanders will officiate. Interment will be in Union Cemetery near Iberia.
