Lois Dean (Luttrell) Pemberton, age 88, of Brumley, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2016, at Lake Regional Health Center in Osage Beach. She was born in Iberia on February 11, 1928, daughter of the late Milton Irvin and Opal Rose (Duncan) Luttrell. On October 31, 1946, in Brumley, Lois married Roy Clayton Pemberton, who preceded her in death on May 10, 2006.
Lois was a member of Mt. Union Church of Christ in Brumley.
She is survived by three sons, Richard Roy Pemberton and wife Angie of Jefferson City, Howard William Pemberton and wife Betty of Brumley, and George Edward Pemberton and wife Sandra of Iberia; seven grandchildren, Valerie Allen of Oklahoma, Julia Theroff of Jefferson City, Michael Pemberton of Eldon, Noal Pemberton of Iberia, Geoffrey Pemberton of Jefferson City, Nicholas Farfan of Jefferson City, and Savanah Pemberton of Jefferson City; 13 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Shirley Smith of Butler, Patsy Rodden of Brumley, and Karen Barnett of Brumley; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Matthew Pemberton and five sisters, Dorlas Gilliam, Alice Wooldridge, Rosemary Douglas, Bonnie Smith, and infant sister, Joyce Luttrell.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with service immediately following at 1 p.m., on Monday, December 12, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Homes in Iberia. Bro. Stan Way and Bro. Robert Dover will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Union Cemetery near Brumley.
