Lois Elaine Pendleton, age 78, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2012, at her home. She was born in Pulaski County on July 8, 1934, daughter of the late Edgar and Bertha Delores (Rhoads) Caby. In June of 1953, in Tuscumbia, Lois married Denny R. Pendleton, who survives at the home.
Elaine was a member of the Tuscumbia Baptist Church.
She is also survived by three children, David Pendleton and wife Sherri of Tuscumbia, Donna F. Badolato and husband Michael of Lake Ozark, and Steve Pendleton of Brumley; nine grandchildren, Osby Pendleton, Megan Brumley, Ashley Sartain, Seth Pendleton, Chad Bell, Brandon Marth, Britany Hedgepath, Shawn Wagner, and Katherine Mierek; ten great-grandchildren; one brother, Jim Caby and wife June of Tuscumbia; and Faye Brockman of Maryland.
Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 7, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Tuscumbia.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion Cemetery.
