Lonnie Roy Albertson, age 75, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at his home.  He was born in Yakima, Washington, on December 25, 1947, son of the late Roy and Thelma (Ash) Albertson.  On January 14, 1967, Lonnie was united in marriage to Glenda Lea Ballard, who preceded him in death on October 25, 1997.

He honorably served in the U.S. Air Force.  Lonnie owned and operated Albertson's Cree Mee in Eldon for over 45 years.  In addition to devoting much of his time to the restaurant, he also stayed busy on his farm, which he took great pride in.  As a lover of the outdoors, Lonnie enjoyed spending time hunting and taking countless trips to the mountains of Colorado.  He was a faithful member of Tuscumbia First Assembly of God Church.

He is survived by three daughters, Jeana (Joe) Woods, Jodi (Louie) Gregoire, and Melissa (Chris) Cone; son, Eric Albertson; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Larry Albertson.

Service will be held at 10 a.m., on Thursday, January 12, at Tuscumbia First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Tim Drake officiating.  Interment with military honors will be held in New Hope Cemetery in Kaiser.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11, at Tuscumbia First Assembly of God Church.
