Lora Mae Graham, age 85, of Ulman, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at her home. She was born in Zebra on December 20, 1927, daughter of the late Benjamin "Frank" and Maggie "Ethel" (Golden) McDowell. On April 7, 1947, in Olathe, Kansas, Lora married George William Graham, who preceded her in death on March 1, 2008.

Lora was a member of Ulman Baptist Church.

She is survived by three children, Danny Graham and wife Judy of Ulman, Judy Armstrong of Columbia, and Denis Graham and wife Frances of Eugene; six grandchildren, Dana Robinett, Andrea Looten, Elizabeth Bax, Shayna Knipp, Denis W. Graham, and Tabatha Walker; 10 great-grandchildren; four siblings, Emma Jean Dunn, Donald McDowell, Leonard McDowell, and Dorothy Barnhart; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by five siblings, Jewell McDowell, Gerald McDowell, Nadine Luttrell, Charles McDowell, and Marvin McDowell.

Service will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2013, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. Mark Kessler and Bro. Kevin Blackburn will officiate. Interment will be in Gott Cemetery near Ulman.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, September 27, at the funeral home.
