Lorraine Catherine Bax, age 80, of St. Elizabeth, died Tuesday, January 1, 2008, at the St. Elizabeth Care Center. She was born in St. Elizabeth on September 2, 1927, daughter of August George "Gus" and Rosa D. (Braun) Bax. Her mother survives in St. Elizabeth.
She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in St. Elizabeth.
Other survivors include two brothers, Norman J. Bax of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Giles A. Bax of St. Petersburg, Florida.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 4, at St. Lawrence Cemetery in St. Elizabeth. Rev. Francis Stuart, OSB, will officiate.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Elizabeth Care Center.
She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in St. Elizabeth.
