Lorraine Anna Luebbert, age 87, of St. Elizabeth, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2015, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. She was born in St. Elizabeth on July 2, 1927, daughter of the late Matt and Genovefa (Jaegers) Kliethermes. On August 24, 1949, in St. Elizabeth, Lorraine married John Martin Luebbert, who preceded her in death on July 1, 1995.

Lorraine worked at St. Elizabeth R-IV as a school cook for over 30 years. She enjoyed spending time outdoors gardening and growing flowers. Lorraine was a member of St. Ann's Sodality and St. Lawrence Catholic Church.

She is survived by one son, John Luebbert of St. Elizabeth; three daughters, Laverne Holtmeyer and husband Frank, Dolores Frey and husband Albert; and Dianne Holtmeyer and husband Joel all of St. Elizabeth; seven grandchildren, Mary Frey, Jennifer Kixmiller, Michael Holtmeyer, Randy Holtmeyer, Steven Holtmeyer, Lisa Holtmeyer, Matt Holtmeyer; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by six brothers, Ray, Norbert, Walter, Albert, Herbert, and Leo Kliethermes and one sister, Emma Kliethermes.

Mass of Christian Burial will held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in St. Elizabeth. Rev. Joby P. Thomas will officiate. Interment will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery in St. Elizabeth.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., with a prayer service at 6 p.m., on Monday, May 25, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in St. Elizabeth.
